Emmet Nichols

Emmet’s experiences in musical theatre, improvisation and comedy culminated in him creating Impromptunes in 2013. He has also performed with improv groups The Big HOO-HAA! and Just Improvise in Perth, as well as The Big HOO-HAA!, Impro Melbourne and Improv Conspiracy in Melbourne. In 2016 Emmet continued his improvised musical theatre education in the UK, workshopping with and performing alongside The Showstoppers.

He is proud to have developed multiple formats with Impromptunes, taken the troupe across Australia and internationally, as well as launching the Impromptunes podcast.

Most of all, Emmet is thrilled to work with such a talented and lovely group of performers, and is proud to lead a team that’s creating world-class work unlike anything else in Australia.
